Chitwan National Park was declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. Chitwan national  park is situated in southern central Nepal, covering 932 sq.km covered with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers. The park headquarters at Kasara is 21 km drive from Bharatpur which is 20 minutes by air or 146 km by road from Kathmandu.

Wake up Call followed by tea/coffee.

Tharu village excursion tour where you will see Tharu ethnic group, their culture, and tradition .Tharu is only the ethnic group just located at Chitwan district.
Lunch.
Visit the elephant breeding center
Dinner.

Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.
Bird watching / Elephant Safari /Jungle walk.
Breakfast.
Departure from Chitwan to Kathmandu/pokhara , transfer to hotel, shopping or relaxing with own activities and preparation for other tour.

Trip Note

  • While you are in the jungle it is suggested that you do not wear bright clothes.
  • Comfortable walking shoes, a sun hat, sunglasses, and insect repellent are essential.
  • Binoculars add greatly to your enjoyment of bird and wildlife viewing.

Jungle safaris are all done as a package tour, the price depends upon the size of the groups and the number of days you will stay. The price includes all activities mentioned in the itinerary, accommodation, transportation and all meals during your jungle visit. You make make a reservation what days would you like to spend.

Transportation
Chitwan is easily accessible from major cities of Nepal like Kathmandu, Pokhara and Lumbini. There are several Tourist Bus services to and from Chitwan. Buses are also available directly from all entry points from India. Our package cost only included the bus services from and to Kathmandu and Pokhara. If you want to travel with the private Car, you would need to Buy additional Private car. You would able to add private car to Chitwan when you shop online. Accommodation
During a stay at a jungle retreat you will be either staying in good comfortable lodges with attached bathroom and insect nets or comfortable permanent tented camps. The standard of accommodation is of a very high standard, safe and clean.

Best Season
Chitwan National Park – October to May, Bird Watching – December to March. Maximum temperature can reach up to 95 Fahrenheit (35 C) in April through September. November through February are cooler months with average temperature around 67 Fahrenheit.
