You will hike in to the dazzling natural amphitheater by the extremely breathtaking peaks of Annapurna Himalayan range. As your guides lead you through the mountains and explore the villages around between cozy teahouses lodges, you’ll meet the kind, welcoming locals and come to understand the truly hospitality of local peoples .Annapurna Base Camp is a trek more attainable for many, as compared to the Everest Base Camp Trekking, and is therefore popular with adventurers with a varying range of experience during the trek perioud. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is suitable for any adventure level group who are looking for a little more challenge in the Himalayan adventures. Having said that, the trip does not require you to be super-fit or have any previous trekking/mountaineering experience. But if you can walk 5 to 6 hours daily, you can do ABC trek easily. We’d suggest you to have some jugging or walking experience prior to leaving for ABC. Mount Trails Team is always aware of necessary rest days for proper acclimatization accordingly. Don’t worry, you can go at your own pace during the trip. We’ll provide you plenty of stops for resting.
Upon arriving in Kathmandu (Tribhuvan International Airport), Mount Trails representative will meet you and help you transfer to your hotel by private transport. Enjoy a free evening to explore spice market of Ason and refresh from your jet-lag. Before dinner we will brief during a short pre tour schedule.
Today, after having early breakfast , we will drive you to Pokhara. Driving from Kathmandu to Pokhara will take around 7 hours by tourist bus. Upon arrival you'll rest for a bit and evening we take a boat ride on fewa lake. overnight at hotel.
Today, we begin our trek at Nayapul after 1 hour driving by a private vehicle from Pokhara. And then after 15 minutes of short walk along the bank of Modi Khola, we will reach Birethanti. Trek starts from Birethanti to Tikhedhuga which will take around three and half hours following the river to Lumle for lunch. One the way, you will be observing the beautiful landscapes farming lands, and people working there. Finally we will reach at Tikhedhunga.
Leaving Tikhedhunga, we begin our trek with a steep climb to Ulleri. In fact, Ulleri is a large Gurung village at the altitude of 2070m. Then, following the ascending trek through the beautiful dense rhododendron, magnolia forests will bring us to Ghorepani. The best time to see rhododendron and magnolia flowers is in the spring (March-April). We will stay at guesthouse tonight
Today, very early in the morning, we will start an hour hiking to Poon Hill for the best sunrise view in the panorama of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massif. And then we return to Ghorepani. Leaving Ghorepani following the beautiful dense forests will then bring you to Tadapani, which will be the destination for today.
The day starts with steep downhill through dense rhododendron forests. Then, leaving Tadapani and following the trail will bring us to Chommrong. Chommrong offers the close up views of Annapurna South, Himchuli and Fishtail Mountain. Chommrong is the gateway to Annapurna Base Camp.
Today, the trail drops down to Chommrong Khola and again we continue climbing to Khuldighar where there is an Annapurna Conservation Area Check Post. After crossing the forest, we will reach at Dovan.
Today will be a short walking day. Our day begins with the climb through forest to Himalayan Hotel where we will have our lunch. After the lunch, the trail goes gently uphill towards Hinku Cave. Then finally, we will reach at Deurali. Overnight, we will stay at guesthouse.
Today is our special day in terms of the views. We will be starting early in the morning to ABC. The reason we start early is because we have to cross the avalanche areas before 12 at noon. After crossing the avalanche areas, we will trek uphill through the bamboo forests for about an hour to reach the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, which isn't really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted. Two hours of trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp will take you to the Annapurna Base Camp at the elevation of 4130m, where you will enjoy the breath-taking surrounding views of the Himalayas. Overnight, we will stay at guesthouse.
Today, we follow the same trail down to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo where there are few teahouses and lodges available to stay.
We follow the same trail until Chommrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar, there is an experimental sheep farm. Then, the trail continues through rhododendron forest. Descending down from Chommrong will take us to Jhinu Hot Spring where you can bath in natural hot springs.
From Jhinu Hot Spring, we walk at the right side of Modi Khola for 4 and half hours to Birethanti which is considered to be one of the best and relaxing walk of the entire trek. Then, we reach Nayapul and an hour drive from Nayapul will bring us at Pokhara city.
Today will be the best day for having tour in Pokhara city. Late morning, we will start our sightseeing of Devi’s Falls, Gupteswor Cave, International Mountain Museum, Seti Gorge, and boating in the Fewa Lake.
After breakfast at hotel, drive to bus park and drive back to Kathmandu. Evening you can take your time for shopping before dinner.

Our Trekking Group
The trekking group is depends on the number of persons but we normally take in 02-10 persons in a group. However, if you are in a bigger group of more than 10 persons, we can manage trekking accordingly. The maximum number 10 is the outcome of generally organized group treks. But, we are good at organizing treks for any group size you require.
Besides the trekking group, we have our local staffs to assist you as well. Trekking does not just mean traveling around; it will be more rewarding if you can gain good bunch of information of the areas you travel. So, we provide you with guides for that and in order to assure easy travel experience, we have porters who would carry on your luggage. We will facilitate you with 1 porter between 2 trekkers. Our porter carry maximum of 20 kg weight.
Guides and Porters
For trekking group of 1 to 5 people, we provide – 1 Guide and Porter (1 porter between two trekkers).
For trekking group of more than 5 people, we provide – 1 Guide, 1 Assistant Guide and Porter (1 porter between two trekkers).
Our overnight stay would be on Tea Houses/lodges during our trekking. Twin sharing comfortable beds and common bathroom will be provided. The place is clean and hygienic. However, if you require a single supplement accommodation, it can also be made available on request at an additional cost of US$ 40. But still you need to be aware that single supplement accommodation may not be available at all the places during your trek in Himalayas.
We mostly serve fresh and hygienic food to let you experience typical Nepali food, special mountain foods and other cuisines including international cuisine like Indian, Tibetan, Italian, and Continental. You can always make your choices from the food menu available there. We will have breakfast and dinner at lodge/tea houses mostly whereas we will have the lunch on our way.
While in Kathmandu, your accommodation is at tourist standard hotels facilitated with Attached Bath, A/C, 24 hours running hot/cold shower, Internet service and others. The facilities provided here is of 2 to 3 star standard hotel and we serve you a breakfast at same hotel.
The means of transportation are private cars/vans or regular tourist bus. Pick up and drop off from airport to hotel, and hotel to airport will be done by private transportation. Also we can arrange domestic flight as per your request. Trek in Nepal will start with a drive from Kathmandu to trek starting point.
Safety and Precaution
It is necessary that you take in good precaution during your travel to avoid any difficulties in your Trekking in Himalayas. As the trekking leads to higher altitude range, you need some trustworthy, experienced, qualified and well-equipped people around you. Your safety is assured by the local trek guide and other staffs.
Since these hikes take you on the remote Himalayan region, it is very essential that you are accompanied with the very experienced, qualified and well-equipped leader such that your trek runs safe and successful one. All our guides at Mount Trails are trained and licensed from Nepal Government, certified from TAAN and Nepal Mountaineering Association with experience over many years. Regarding health issues, we are well aware that you are likely to get Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Going up high at faster pace is too harmful and can be fatal as well because of less oxygen.
